Learn more about belly dance and start your journey with an 8 week online beginner’s course you and your group.
Develop strong foundation belly dance moves and learn how to apply them with technical precision, emotive expression and musical interpretation. In this course you will:
- Learn essential belly dance technique, combinations and taster choreography
- Develop self-awareness and confidence, connecting to your body and mind
- Learn how to apply classic belly dance moves with elegance & fluidity
- Exercise in a gentle and low-impact way, learning how to access and move muscles you never knew you could isolate!
- Develop your muscle strength, posture and body conditioning required to belly dance elegantly
- Discover the joy of belly dance music and how to apply basic moves to it
- Find out more about the cultural & historical context of belly dance
